
Coach Jenna Davis was born Corpus Christi and attended Flour Bluff High school while she was here. She moved to California and graduated from Buena Park High School and received a full volleyball scholarship to Blinn College. She also continued her volleyball career at Fullerton College in California where she was a DS and Libero. Coach Jenna has coached freshman volleyball at IWA and was also the assistant varsity softball coach. She is the new varsity softball coach at John Paul and we are so lucky to have her this season!

Meet Coach Areeona Young
She is originally from Round Rock, TX and has lived in Corpus Christi for eight years. She has a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from TAMU-CC. She has played volleyball since she was 5 years old and has never stopped! Her main position was as a Setter, but she has also played OH/RH and Middle. She is currently a science teacher and volleyball/track coach at Lexington Middle School. We can't wait for our girls to learn and grow their skills with her!

Coach Katherine Garza is from Corpus Christi, TX. She has a Bachelors in Education from TAMU-CC. She started playing volleyball as an OH/middle in the 7th grade and has never stopped. She has had the opportunity to coach for various leagues in our community and we are excited to have back again for a third season.

Coach Sherri Cain is originally from Portales, New Mexico and has lived in Corpus Christi, TX for 13 years. She has a Bachelors in Kinesiology from TAMU-Kingsville. In New Mexico she was a multi-sport athlete and played volleyball for four years, basketball, and ran track. At TAMU-Kingsville she was the starting middle for two years. Coach Cain was also a two-time All American and Lone Star conference champion in high jump for the Javelina track team. She is currently the head volleyball coach at Richard King High School and has been a high school head coach for 20 years. Coach Cain's coaching philosophy centers around empowerment of young female athletes, resilience, teamwork, and encouraging her players not only to excel in their sport but to develop life skills that extend beyond the game.
