Callaway began her volleyball career in the 7th grade and has been playing, coaching, or recruiting/consulting ever since. She grew up in Louisville, Kentucky where she played high school and club volleyball earning many District, Regional and State awards. Callaway played college volleyball at DI, Samford University in Alabama where she finished third in All-Time Single Season Digs and fourth in All- Time Career Digs. After playing in college, she couldn’t imagine leaving athletics behind, so she went on to coach club and high school volleyball. She led her high school team to their first-ever state tournament appearance in her first year as head coach. She moved to Miami, Florida to take her first collegiate head coaching job in 2012. As a college coach she was named Conference Coach of the Year twice. She was named to the ACVA Thirty under 30 list and led her team to finish as a top contender in the conference each year and earned national recognition. Callaway is going into her 8th year as an athletic recruiter / consultant. Through her guidance hundreds of athletes have gone to play collegiately. Callaway resides in Boerne, Texas and has two daughters and one son.
